Data protection

The “controller” in the sense of the data protection laws, in particular the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) is:

HAVLAT Präzisionstechnik GmbH

Your rights as a data subject

Using the contact data given for our data protection officer, you are able at any time to exercise the following rights:

  • the right to receive information about the data we hold and its processing;
  • the right to rectification of personal data;
  • the right to erasure of the data we hold;
  • the right to restriction of processing if, for legal reasons, we are unable to erase your data;
  • the right to object to our processing of your data; and
  • the right to data portability, if you have approved data processing or have concluded a contract with us.

If you have communicated your consent to us, you are able to withdraw it at any time with future effect.

At any time, you are able to register a complaint with the regulatory authority. Your responsible regulatory authority depends on the federal state where you live, work or where the alleged infringement took place. You can find a list of the regulatory authorities (for the private sector) with addresses at:

https://www.bfdi.bund.de/DE/Infothek/Anschriften_Links/anschriften_links-node.html.

Purposes of data processing by the controller and third parties

We only process your personal data for the purposes given in this data protection declaration. Transfer of your personal data to third parties for anything other than the purposes given does not take place. We only transfer your personal data to third parties if:

  • you have given your express consent to do so,
  • processing is required for the execution of a contract with you,
  • processing is necessary for the fulfilment of a legal obligation,

the processing is required for the safeguarding of justified interests and there exists no reason to assume that you have an overriding interest in the non-transfer of your data.

Erasure or restriction of the data

We stand by the principles of data avoidance and data thriftiness. For this reason, we only store your personal data for the length of time required to achieve the purposes described here, or in accordance with the periods set out by the legislation. Once the purpose is achieved or the deadline passed, the corresponding data are routinely restricted or erased as per the legal requirements.

Recording of general information when you visit our site

If you access our website, information of a general nature is automatically recorded using a cookie. This information (server logfiles) includes, for example, the type of web browser, the operating system used, the domain name of your internet service provider and similar. This is exclusively information that does not allow you to be personally identified.

This information is technically required in order to correctly deliver the content you have requested and is necessarily created through the use of the internet. It is processed in particular for the following purposes:

  • to ensure problem-free connection to our website,
  • to ensure frictionless use of our website,
  • to evaluate system security and stability, and
  • for further administrative purposes.

The processing of your personal data is based on our justified interest arising from the above purposes of data gathering. We do not use your data to draw conclusions about you personally. The data recipients are only the controller and in some cases a processor. Anonymous information of this kind may be used by us for statistical analysis in order to optimise our internet presence and its technological underpinnings.

WP Statistics

This website uses the WordPress analytics plugin WP Statistics. The provider of this plugin is wp-statistics.com. Simple statistics are produced from the data in anonymised form. No user profiles are produced to this end and no cookies placed. All data collected by WP Statistics are fully anonymised when stored on this web server. For this reason, the personal identification of users, even in retrospect, is impossible.

Cookies

Like many other websites we use “cookies”. Cookies are small files that are transferred from an internet server to your hard drive. Through these, we receive automatically created data such as your IP address, browser, operating system and internet connection.

Cookies cannot be used to start programs or transfer viruses to a computer. Using the information contained in cookies, we are able to make navigation easier for you and correctly display our web pages. In no case are the data we collect transferred to third parties or collated with personal data without your permission.

Of course, you can also view our website without accepting cookies. Internet browsers are set to accept cookies as default. In general, you can deactivate cookies at any time using your browser settings. Please use the “help” function in your browser to find out how to change these settings. Please take note that certain functions of our website may not function if you deactivate cookies.

SSL encryption

To ensure the data you transfer are secure we use state-of-the-art encryption (e.g. SSL) or HTTPS.

Verwendung von Scriptbibliotheken (Google Webfonts)

In order to present our content correctly and with suitable graphical accuracy across all browsers, we use font libraries on our site such as Google Webfonts. Google Webfonts are used to avoid multiple downloads to your browser cache. If the browser does not support Google Webfonts or prevents access, content is shown in a standard font.

Accessing font libraries automatically triggers a connection to the operator of the library. Here, it is theoretically possible – but unclear at present whether this is the case, and what the purposes might be – for the operator of such libraries to collect data.

You can find Google’s data protection guideline as a library operator here: https://www.google.com/policies/privacy/

Font Awesome Web Fonts:

Our website uses fonts and icons from the online platform. When the website is opened, data is also recalled from a server owned by the company “Font Awesome”, giving this company knowledge at least of your IP address. Through this, Font Awesome also finds out, among other things, that you have downloaded the font via our website, and gains certain technical information about your browser, as nearly every web browser sends such data automatically to the server during every access request. Certain browsers allow the data sent to the server to be limited or modified; whether this is possible or not depends on the browser provider. Even if Font Awesome only needs the information transferred, in particular the IP address, to deliver the content requested, the extent to which Font Awesome also stores and uses these data for statistical analysis is beyond our knowledge and sphere of influence. For further information on data protection at Font Awesome, click the following link: https://www.myfonts.com/info/terms-and-conditions.

Use of Google Maps

This website uses Google Maps API to visually display geographical data. During the use of Google Maps, Google processes and uses data relating to visitors’ use of cartographic functions. You can find more detailed information on Google’s data processing in the Google data protection information. There, in the Google data protection centre, you can also change your own data protection settings.

You can find extensive instructions on how to manage your own data in connection with Google products here.

Use of YouTube videos

Our websites link to our YouTube channel. The operator of this channel is YouTube, LLC, 901 Cherry Ave., San Bruno, CA 94066, USA. If you follow the link, a connection is made to YouTube’s servers. Through this, YouTube is informed of which sites you visit. If you are logged into your own personal YouTube account, YouTube is able to assign your surfing behaviour to you personally. You can prevent this by logging out of your YouTube account. If a YouTube video is started, the provider will place cookies to collect information on user behaviour.

If you have deactivated cookies for the Google Ad programme, you can also consider that no such cookies will be used when watching YouTube videos. However, YouTube also places other cookies containing non-personal usage information. If you want to prevent this you have to block the saving of cookies in your browser.

You can find further information on data protection at “YouTube” in the provider’s data protection declaration here: https://www.google.de/intl/de/policies/privacy/

Changes to our data protection information

We reserve the right to adjust this data protection declaration to conform to the latest legal requirements or to implement the effects of changes to our services in our data protection declaration, e.g. when new ones are introduced. The new data protection declaration will then apply to your next visit.
