As partner and customer of BURKHARDT + WEBER Fertigungssysteme GmbH, we were one of more than 1,450 exhibitors from 44 countries at this year’s AMB 2016 exhibition in Stuttgart. Over a period of five presentation days the exhibition provided roughly 90,000 trade visitors an opportunity to explore the newest developments in metalworking and do business. With the focus of the exhibition on innovative machine tools and precision tools, it was an ideal environment to present our new high-precision CNC 5-axis machining centre – the B+W MCX 1000 – with its high dynamics and long-term precision. At booth C53 of BURKHARDT + WEBER Fertigungssysteme GmbH visitors had an opportunity to marvel at the full machine complex, including tool and pallet changer system. At the same time, as future machine owner and provider of manufacturing services, we were on hand with advice and information. After some very successful days at the exhibition and many positive discussions with customers, the MCX 1000 is now on its way to our production site in Zittau, where the majority of all hall modifications have been completed. Beginning in November we look forward to providing our customers with all the new manufacturing capabilities of the machining centre.
